Galileo Galilei
Galileo Exhibition at the Waikato Museum
Room 18 visited the Museum to see the Galileo Exhibiton.
What we found out:
Galileo Galilei was an Italian natural philosopher, astronomer and mathematician who made fundamental contributions to the sciences of motion, astronomy, the strength of materials, and the scientific method's development.
Through interactive exhibits we explored Galileo’s study of motion and his
discoveries with the telescope, which paved the way for acceptance that the
Sun is central in our planetary system.
We had a great time exploring and learning how simple machines work.
