A makerspace can be any space in school where students and teachers come together to create, invent, prototype, design, tinker, explore, discover, code, build, craft, draft, draw and more.
Students can work individually or collaboratively using a variety of tools and materials.
Makerspaces typically have a STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths). However, makerspace is an ideal platform for projects that work across all subject areas.
